FAQ

How often should I restring my racket?

Use the rule: restring as many times per year as you play per week. Play 3 times a week? Aim for about 3 restrings a year — more if you play competitively.

Should I restring even if the string has not broken?

Yes. Strings lose tension and resilience over time even without breaking, which dulls control and repulsion. Many serious players restring on a schedule regardless of breakage.

Does string break-in matter?

Strings lose the most tension in the first 24–48 hours after stringing. If you have a big match, restring a few days before so the bed settles to a stable tension.
